Mystery of Rebirth

⁣The concept of reincarnation (also known as transmigration and metempsychosis in religion and philosophy) refers, among other things, to the rebirth by an aspect of an entity that continues after bodily death. It could be consciousness or mind, or some other entity. These existences can, depending upon the tradition be human or animal, spiritual, and sometimes even vegetable. While most South Asian and East Asian traditions believe in reincarnation, it is also common in other religions like Manichaeism, Manichaeism (e.g., the Greek Orphic mysteries or salvation, religion), and Gnosticism.
