Om Namah Shivaya, one of the most recognizable Hindu mantras, is also the most important mantra within Shaivism.Namah Shivaya is "O salutations for the auspicious one!"Or "adoration of Lord Shiva".Siva Panchakshara (or Shiva Panchakshara) is the name of this Mantra. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and includes the five-syllable mantra (excluding the Om).This Mantra is represented as 'Na, 'Ma, 'Si’ 'Va’ and 'Ya’ in the Shri Rudram. It is part of both the Krishna Yajurveda as well the Rudrashtadhyayi.

Usui Shiki Ryoho is traditional Reiki, handed down from Usui Sensei to Reiki Masters practicing today. Usui Sensei's teachings are very much about teaching people how to heal themselves, spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. His motto 'unity of self through harmony and balance' is in inscription on the wall of his training centre in Tokyo. This is very much the basis for learning all the levels of Reiki today.
Handed down from Mrs Takata are western style teachings and there are other styles practiced in Japan. Most Reiki Masters teaching in the West are beginning to blend the two styles, thereby offering students a more comprehensive and rounded teaching.
Anyone can learn this simple and wonderful healing therapy. Reiki includes everyone, from all backgrounds and all religions. Children can also learn a simplified version of it.
The ability to learn Reiki is not dependent on intellectual capacity, nor does one have to be able to meditate. It is simply passed on from the teacher to the student. As soon as this happens, one has and can do Reiki. It is easily learned by anyone.
Reiki is a pure form of healing not dependent on individual talent or ability. Because of this, the personality of the healer is less likely to cloud the significance of the experience. The feeling of being connected directly to God's healing love and protection is simply apparent.
There are three main levels to Sensei Usui's teachings and each level teaches you how to integrate Reiki into your life.
Reiki is a simple and extremely powerful healing technique which can be learnt very easily and applied to anybody. It does not require a high level of qualification or innate qualities to learn. I believe Reiki is the perfect answer to all the problems in the world and beyond. In fact, it is the only and true answer to sufferings in the world. It has all the powers that one can or cannot imagine. When your higher self or ‘I’ calls for a better world it is there for you. It comes to everybody in different ways. It all depends upon the specific conditions, environment and circumstances of the particular person. So what I believe about Reiki is that it is the most powerful force which is real but based on faith and belief as well and is always ready to help you out whenever and wherever required. I also believe that Reiki represents the ultimate. It ensures personal empowerment, confidence building and evolution as a being. There are different ways to practice it in the present times and each of them has their own philosophies.
Reiki can also be combined with the traditional medical treatment and other conventional or traditional therapies to produce great results. It works in coordination with other therapies and healing methods and practices. If you want to practice Reiki then the first step is to find the perfect guide or teacher. This is the most difficult step and it is believed that you do not have to search for a teacher but the right teacher will come to you automatically. No efforts needed. The right teacher will take you through your journeys for your higher self or god or Supreme Being or higher being. Under the capable direction or guidance of a teacher who has been destined for you, you will be able to whatever you want to achieve. Despite a good teacher you may not be comfortable with him or her. This is because he or she is not the teacher who has been ‘made’ for you. Once you are comfortable with the teacher there is more fruitful result and more benefits. As a result, there is much Reiki induces immense healing experience because there is strong and increased flow of energy. The body is much more ready to accept the energy introduced into him or her. Therefore, I believe it must be practices with sheer confidence level.
