It was not an easy process getting me to where I am now. The Bhagavata Purana, also known as the Srimad Bhagavatam, Srimad Bhagavata Mahapurana or simply Bhagavata, is one of Hinduism's eighteen great Puranas (Mahapuranas). Composed in Sanskrit and available in almost all Indian languages, it promotes bhakti (devotion) to Krishna. The Bhagavata Purana, as with other puranas that deal with various topics including astronomy, cosmology genealogy and legends, geography, music, dance, yoga and other cultures. The story begins with evil forces have prevailed in a battle between the benevolent devas (deities) and evil asuras (demons) and now rule the world. The truth is born as Krishna (also known as " Hari” and " Vasudeva in the text). He first is able to make peace with demons, after which he learns to understand them, and defeats them creatively, bringing back hope and justice, as well as freedom joy, peace, and liberty which is a common theme in many myths.
